mossArchitects is not your standard corporate architect. We love to create, design, and imagine new spaces that people can use and enjoy. We believe that good design improves the way of life. We thrive during our design process of creating beautiful design solutions that improve how people live, work, and play in the spaces we create. The company, founded in 2006 by Andrew Moss, now comprises a staff of twelve architects, designers, and technicians, with an office in the heart of the city’s Garfield neighborhood. In 2022 ownership expanded to include Associate Principals Katie LaForest and Darren Lloyd.

Our firm’s design philosophy is not tied to any design style; we believe good design transcends style. Much of our work is a study in composition and space. We seek authentic, innovative, modern design solutions that are specific to place and contextually appropriate. This can often be seen through form, materiality, scale, proportions, and patterns. We begin every project by listening and gathering information. Every design solution is a culmination of evaluating client needs, site context, and our collective firm experience.
